A strict warning to all my peeps…

Check it out, you know the whole karma thing, getting back what you give, yadee yadee yadee… I don’t know if karma has anything to do with the current condition of my right foot and ankle. However, I do have a strict warning to all my peeps reading this blog…STAY AWAY as far as possible from Toby Mac and the Diverse City Band. I mean take a look at the photos of my majorly sprained ankle y’all.
Toby Mac and his homies did this to me. Pure evil I tell ya… taking the preacher man out so they can have a couple more minutes up on stage to do their thang. It was me vs. Toby and company during some serious basketball during Winter Jam 2009. I went for the dunk (not really… but lets pretend), and they took me out and tore up my ankle. I’m talking all thugy here cuz Tmac done beat his thugyness into me so deep, I can’t shake it off baby.
Alright, alright… you know I love Tmac and the DCB. They are truly the bomb, and unfortunately life happens and really painful accidents occur out there on the court sometimes. I have to remember that I dished a whole lot of hard love out to all of them during the WJ tour with my videos of them hitting bricks left and right during our games. The Bible is right.. you reap what you sow. If you get a minute to pray for my ankle, I’d covet those prayers. Peace and Love!!

lol thats funny. i had the same thing happen to my ankle on my last soccer game right before my first basketball game. it wasnt fun, well i hope u get better

Guess when you play with TMac and DCB they play for keeps! So not only do you have to be good....you obviously need to be FAST too!
Ok, I have a question for TMac. I can’t seem to get through through his site, so I’m comin’ to you. Hope you can help.
Since you’re on tour with him I
thought that maybe you’d ask him for me(?).
My soon-to-be 14 yr.old son mentioned one of Toby’s lyrics in the song
‘Boomin’. The lyric’s say something like “when the bus pulls out of the
dirty South, Tennesse we’re keepin’ it good and loud.”
So altho’ my son likes the song, he questions why the phrase “the dirty
South”.
I told him that it must be some catch phrase that is used down here(we live
in Georgia)-altho’ I’ve never heard it,but then I’m originally from KY.
Well, I asked around at work-where everyone HAS grown up in the South- and nobody else knows what it means either-one lady said maybe because of the New Orleans French Quarter??
So then I asked my father in law, who usually
knows stuff like that, and HE couldn’t think of any reason… except maybe
because of the slave issue way back when?
Now we’re really curious where Toby got that I mean, Toby come from Virginia,doesn’t he? That’s the South too...so, if you
don’t mind, could you please ask him about this part of the song?

Ohmigosh that is so funny! I think Tony and Toby are both really kewl… but that’s just too funny! Praying for your ankle and that you get better at basketball, lol.

I will pray for ur ankle, but dude that looks like that hurts! Tmac dude I love ya but what the world got over u to beat the preacher! LoL! Wanted to tell u guys just how much the WinterJam changed my life. Can’t wait till next year!
