My Heart, God’s Heart

I have a new daughter now.  She came with a price.  I was really
willing to pay it… and more.  We pulled her out of the pit of loneliness
and separation from a father.  WOW, did God not do the same for
each of us who have been saved by His wonderful grace?  Oh YEAH!

Fei Fei has needs and hurts and fears.  I love to meet her needs, mend
her hurts and calm her fears.  Has God not done the same for each of
us who suffered from our needs, hurts and fears?  Oh YEAH!

I hold Fei Fei, I mean I wrap my arms around her and try to swallow
her up with my love.  It’s crazy, and don’t call the child abuse people
on me here, but I squeeze her really hard.  I don’t squeeze her to death
but to LIFE!

It’s like I feel the warmth of the love I have stored in my heart for her, and
when I pull her in close and smell her neck and feel her tiny little cheeks
press on mine, It’s like life—warm, soothing life flowing through me and I feel
like dancing or something… CRAZY!!

And to think… God one day will hold each of us and wrap His nail-scared
hands around us!  Oh, the love that will flow and life that will radiate from His
heart to ours!  Will that be awesome or what?  Oh YEAH!!!
